Community drug checking is often done by harm reduction and other non-profit organizations working to support people who use drugs. These organizations test the street drug supply and report findings back to the community. Information may include a breakdown of the substances in the current street drug supply, notice of a bad batch, or the detection of fentanyl or xylazine in the current supply.
